Dr. Kaiser received a PhD from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (later renamed: Palo Alto University, affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine), with specialties in Child/Family Clinical Psychology and in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [CBT]). 

Her clinical psychology training was completed at the Children’s Hospital, San Francisco (Child Development Unit) ; UCSF Medical School (Division of Behavioral & Developmental Pediatrics); and the Children’s Health Council (a Stanford-affiliated child mental health agency).

Prior to her pediatric mental health studies, she pursued additional training in behavioral & developmental pediatrics, with graduate degrees as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (UCSD Medical School) and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (UCLA). Her undergraduate degree was Nursing with a Psychology minor (St. Louis University).
